I set my goal at a couple of pounds a week which was pretty easy to reach which made me stay positive in my head where most of the battle of the bulge is fought. Give yourself a fighting chance. Give yourself plenty of time by making it a lifestyle change that is permanent.

In conclusion I would say that the big secret to permanent weight loss is changing how you think about yourself and how you treat your body.
